The ACE Academic Upgrading Program
The ACE Academic Upgrading program is tailored for students who will go on to College, University or Apprenticeship. It is delivered in partnership with George Brown College.
ACE stands for Academic and Career Entrance and is recognized by Ontario Colleges and Apprenticeships as the equivalent of Grade 12 (College Preparation Level).
The Academic Upgrading Program is conducted in a small class setting with a qualified College instructor. Instruction consists of a combination of teacher-led and self-directed activities.
The program provides instruction in two Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) Courses: Communications - English and Computer Studies. Students can move at their own pace through the curriculum.
Students willalso be supported to take online courses in other ACE subjects such as math, chemistry, biology and physics.
One-to-one tutoring is also available for those who need it.
Students are registered as George Brown College upgrading students and have access to the college's resources such as the library and career centre.
The program is located primarily at our 248 Ossington Avenue location (Dundas & Ossington) and runs 4 evenings per week.
Childcare is available.
