Introduction
We offer interactive workshops and groups for newcomers to discuss topics and challenges related to adapting to Canadian life. Participants learn valuable new information and relevant coping strategies. In addition to regular ESL classes, provided by the Toronto District Board of Education in collaboration with St. Christopher House, we provide an average of 29 English Conversation groups as well as one-on-one settlement mentorship and tutoring. We have also added vocational-based orientation groups that focus on vocational networking.
