Immigrant and Refugee Services

Join our immigrants integration discussion forum:

Immigrant and Refugee Services provides information and support to help
newcomers individually and as community members, develop the skills and knowledge
to help themselves and participate in society.

In June 2008 we launched an innovative programming for immigrant and refugee youth,
the Youth HOST, funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Visit our "Services for Newcomer Youth" Section. Also visit Youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/user/youthhost

Youth Host supports immigrant and refugee youth, between the age of 13-24, through
group activities, mentorships, capacity building, leadership training and much more.

In addition, our Newcomer Settlement Outreach Project would assist you with:

  • Immigration/refugee issues
  • English as a second language schools
  • Finding housing
  • Accessing healthcare
  • Legal issues
  • Language Interpretation
  • Escorting to your appointments
