Are You Looking For Work?

• Are you having a hard time finding work due to your limited edcuation. (grade 12 or below)?
• Do you have gaps in your employment history?
• Are you uncertain which job suits you best?
• Not sure where and how to look for work?
• Are you working part-time (currently working less than 20 hours a week) and need a full-time job?

Our Program:

The program is a maximum of 16 weeks in length.

During this time, you would meet with an Employment Counsellor on a weekly basis to assist you in the Job Search. If you need assistance identifying what work to look for the Employment Counsellor can work with you on some Career Exploration.

We also have a Job Developer on staff to help connect you with employers.

The work we do with you is a combination of one-on-one appointments and workshops in the following areas:

• Professional resumes and cover letter writing
• Interview Skills
• Job Searching
• Exploration of your career options
• Assistance with interview clothing
• Free TTC tokens available for those who qualify
• Free access to: Fax machine/Phone, Photocopier, Computers and the Internet and Job Board
• Help with voicemail
• Referrals to other St. Christopher House Programs
