Introduction
The Community Parenting Outreach Program (CPOP) exists to provide outreach to new or isolated families in the Parkdale and
CPOP staff work with families to identify their needs and help them connect with the services they require. CPOP staff do not provide referrals to one single service provider but rather take a hollistic approach and focus on the families needs', varied as they may be.
CPOP workers offer services in the following languages:
Mandarin
Portuguese
Tamil & Singhalese
Tibetan
Once the needs of the families have been assessed, CPOP staff will make the appropriate referrals and appointments and will accompany clients to their appointments often providing translation. Services that CPOP staff liaise with include community health centres, legal services, child care and social assistance providers. Please take a look at the navigation bar to the left to see examples of these services.
There are no fees to participate in the Community Parenting Outreach Program. Please contact the CPOP Coordinator for further information at (416) 536-1234 x 21.
