Introduction
The purpose of CPOP is to provide outreach to newcomer or isolated families with at least one child between the ages of 0-6 years living in the Parkdale and High Park communities and connect them to needed services.
CPOP staff work with families to identify their needs and begin connecting parents to the various services they need. CPOP staff do not provide referrals to one service provider only but rather take a holistic approach and focus on the families’ needs, varied as they may be.
Once the needs have been assessed, CPOP staff will make the appropriate referrals, make appointments and accompany clients to the services often providing translation.
