Gilles Séguin has been a great friend to St. Christopher House.

Gilles has made keeping in touch with the newest thinking and the latest actions taken by those who are concerned with where our lives and communities are going much easier.

Weekly, Gilles gathers together the web based updates of a wide range of social policy institutions from across the political spectrum and across civil society. His own commentary adds to the whole experience.

The following exerpt from Gilles site gives you a taste of the man behind the web site :

On November 17, 1997, I launched Canadian Social Research Links so that I could share my collection of web links with colleagues in the social research community, whether in government, the non-governmental sector or academia. I started the Canadian Social Research Newsletter as a convenience for folks who didn't have the time to visit the site regularly, and it quickly took on a life of its own...
...to the point where I decided the day job was taking up time that I should be working on my site and newsletter.

I left the federal civil service on October 17, 2003 to do just that.

Gilles has created a One Stop Shopping experience for people interested in Social Policy
